Advanced Life Support Level 1

Australian Resuscitation Council approved Advanced Life Support Level 1 courses available in a wide range of locations around Australia.

The ALS Level 1 course is designed to develop foundation skills and knowledge while providing the confidence for managing medical emergencies, utilising some of the most advanced medical simulation equipment available today.

Basic Life Support

Basic Life Support is an annual requirement for many in the healthcare sector. Code Blue Medical recognises the underpinning knowledge and skills of participants by ensuring the course is very practical. A short theory session to refresh Students and update any changes to resuscitation is followed by airway management and cardiac arrest skill stations. We can integrate the training with operational requirements of organisations, training small groups over an hour, and allowing them to return to work with minimal disruption. Needle stick injuries are prevalent in the healthcare sector with many able to be avoided. Poor practice and not following procedures results in many injuries. Other needle stick injuries occur when sharps are being disposed of in the community. By using the appropriate equipment and following good training, sharps can be safely disposed of.
